We concluded that nothing matters
that we'd all be dead in a little while
will the sun burn up this plastic earth?
or will we tear it apart first?
and if we lived full lives
we'd be forced to accept
our compromising hearts
..which is many parts
..but we're all trying hard
Electric world snuffed out my voice
Politics teach us to think in multiple choice
A damn algorithm decides what I see
You can hit like, or you can hit share if you agree
We're drawing lines
for our protection
but wifi keeps us
company in isolation
But the moon can't glow
the sun can't shine
your heart cant fit
through an 8-bit ethernet wire
..tho we're trying really hard
And in the between we have today
feeling pressure to make some kind of change
empathize unto death with the BBC
No strength for neighbors across the street
You try to find some solace
in this world of violence
without violating the conscience
of populations drop the act
nobody gives a damn
